Does not work with iPad mini 2

I downloaded this app for the Panasonic P50ST50. I wanted the app for its browser capabilities. The only functions I could get to work were the volume keys and the ability of the app to turn off the television after it had already been turned on. I called Panasonic. The tech help was not knowledgeable, at first telling me that I had to use the remote one application. That was incorrect and nothing else that he suggested would work. In the middle of giving unhelpful information, the technician said we could start the payment process! At that point, I canceled the phone call. On line support was also unhelpful. I will try the app on an iPhone and see if it works any better, but given this apps two-star rating, it probably works no better there.
